Technical Product Description:

The Franklin Electric FPS 3200 Series Submersible Well Pump is a residential-duty submersible well pump designed for installations where standard 4-inch pumps may be difficult to install. Franklin Electric states that all parts of the pump end, including the cable guard, fit within the diameter of its industry-leading 4-inch motor. This reduced diameter pump end makes the 3200 Series ideal for tight or encrusted 4-inch wells.  

Franklin also states that the FPS 3200 Series features a hydraulic stage design optimized for greater water and pressure output at deeper well depths, making it well suited for installations where deeper settings demand improved performance. The pump uses a floating stage design to support maximum efficiency while minimizing downthrust load transferred to the motor.  

For durability in difficult water conditions, Franklin specifies a hex rubber bearing and ceramic shaft sleeve, which allow sand and abrasives to pass through, helping to virtually eliminate shaft wear and upper bearing failures. Franklin also offers the 3200 Series in multiple configurations, including 2-wire thermoplastic, 3-wire thermoplastic, 2-wire stainless steel, 3-wire stainless steel, and stainless steel pump-end versions, depending on the model selected.  

With its compact reduced-diameter construction, optimized deep-well hydraulics, and abrasion-resistant bearing system, the FPS 3200 Series is a practical choice for residential and light-duty well applications where installation clearance and reliable performance are critical.
